Mortgage Rates Up BUT Still Below 5 Percent

Freddie Mac released the results of its Primary Mortgage Market Survey in which the 30 Year Fixed Rate Mortgage averaged 4.94% with an average of .7 points up from last week when it averaged 4.81%.

The 15 Year FRM averaged 4.38% up from 4.32%. Bottom line is rates have gone up slightly this week.

Now is still a great time to buy.  Take advantage of low rates and sellers who are ready to deal!!
